In this model, senior US based managers and architects work directly with the client to ensure an in-depth understanding of the business requirements and system architecture. As part of the detailed design phase of the project, portions of the development effort are identified to be sent offshore to Vircon's development team consisting of project managers, development leads, highly skilled developers, and testers.
The Vircon US Based team handles the management, staffing and communications effort required for offshore development, freeing the client to focus on high level project management and development of business requirements.
Prior to delivery of the product to the client, the Vircon onshore team will closely inspect and do final testing of the solution to ensure quality and fulfillment of the business requirements.
The Vircon offshore teams are staffed with highly trained developers, project managers, QA staff and technical leads. Agile and Test Driven development processes contribute to quick and accurate project execution. Project managers and technical leads in the offshore team are responsible for fully understanding requirements and architecture and communicating these to the developers.
Modern web based communications tools are used extensively to bridge the location gap. These include internet based telephones, video conferencing, desktop sharing, and instant messengers. In addition, travel for in-person communication and knowledge sharing is done on a regular basis.
